batman begins was :at the top of the lungs: FUCKING AMAZING. goddamn imax theatre. i finally blinked after the first few minutes of the film and my eyes were burning. aural and visual annihilation. i felt the entire movie through 12000 watts of sound. i was so fucking impressed and astonished that i must use the words fuck and goddamn repeatedly. fuck. goddamn. i must see it again, tuesday or thursday. on a regular movie screen that will look like a tunnel and the scarecrow won't scare the shit out of me nearly as much--the scarecrow. totally fucking forgot he was in the movie. oh yeah, if you haven't seen it you probably shouldn't read this. liam neeson as a bad guy. fucking gary oldman. morgan fucking freeman. hello, i'm michael caine! i didn't think i would say it, but sorry michael keaton. christian bale is batman. angry and aloof and khghgdfjgfeswuerkgnnnn. wow. wow. WOW. the only thing that bothered me was katie holmes' damn half smile smirk. i was hoping she would leave that behind at the wb, but NO.

perhaps i will have something more intelligent to say after another viewing, one where i do not feel like i am being devoured by the silver screen--overall, an entirely pleasant feeling.

and after i have had my fill of batman (so fucking good i think i might have to see it twice more before i can have my fill for now) i will turn my attention towards waiting for charlie and the chocolate factory, which upon seeing i will have another mindblowing experience, i am sure.
