work today was satisfactory. i realised on the way there that i needed only thirtysix dollars. surely i could attain that, so i played it like i still needed fiftytwo. another night i didn't stop moving from four fourty until nine twentyfive, but a night without omira the busgirl, a night without a fourth server and one of the three being liz, a night with a bunch of jerkasses and a lack of familar faces. which means a fairly frustrating night, indeed. i couldn't get on top of anything. normally, a pattern is figured out and things are knocked off systematically. this table cleared, this order taken, drinks, other order. salads. blah blah blah. but there was always something, and a million tables to clear and people calling me to their table out of nowhere and and and. frustrating as all hell. i pulled in between what i needed and what would been amusing, so i can go put the money in the bank for the bill and buy myself.. mm.. apple juice. mmmmm.
