well, MOTHRA FUCKER. in a desperate moment of family bonding, my brother became ambitious and took it upon himself to fix my computer. and i pleaded, i said, "MATT, don't do it! please, just stay away, i will lose any hope of productivity if you turn that thing on!" but he was overzealous in this quest and came to me three seconds later and said, "SARA, did you try to turn the thing on?" and he thought it was very funny. indeed. he accused me of being unappreciative, and i shook his hand and thanked him many times.

i really need to do some goddamn laundry and clean up my room. i'm being ridiculous. these are strange days.

what i can say about the writing is that i should have started this process months ago and maybe i would have been ready in time for november. short of a miracle of rapid inspiration, i won't make the deadline. but that's okay. it's nice to be writing something. even if only in short bursts.
