i stayed up too late last night. too, too late; so late i didn't go to sleep. i reached the point in my lengthy conversations where my conversationists all went off to bed and i switched from one sentiment to another when i realised it was just too late to think about sleep. i spent a good few hours staring at words on a screen, paging back through various old words... mine, others. an unsettling but satisfying activity.
