nurturing people are lovely to be around. i walked back up to customer service and was handed the brown bottle. "you're coughing again. it's time to take more." and it's probably things like this that make me feel just as much at home at work as at my actual house.

(p.s. there is a new boy at work today, and when i asked his name, i didn't get any of the generics like mike or david or chris. sheldon. his name his sheldon. and maybe it is because of the little egg on the garfield and friends cartoon, but i think that is such a gracefully adorable name. sheldon.)
