hee.

i just wrapped all nick's presents and made him open them. well, i didn't really make him, but it being a day and a half before his birthday it really could have waited... but i couldn't help it. i like instant gratification. my lousy wrapping skills were terrifically accented by the fact that i had no tape and instead used one of those little label makers with the little tab stickers :D so great.

i gave him some stuff; a shirt from target, a little bird tea light holder and some honeydew tea lights to go with it.

i gave him the thing i've wanted to give him for every present giving occassion since we first got together [and there was no way i was going to let it end without getting it], an electro-harmonix deluxe memory man. which i really should have played with before i gave it to him cause i'll probably never get my hands on it. ;) but now he can make all the pretty oscillating noise repeating into infinity he wants to. whirr whirr whirr chIRP! itgoes.

however, i saw more excitement out of him when he opened the dmm box and saw the can of jack mackeral we constantly fawn over at the devil store across the street. :D

i think i'm better at birthdays than i am at christmas.

i'm glad he was born. :)
