Kevorkian went for the corpse's jugular, but her neck was mashed and he couldn't get the needle in. Thinking fast, he plunged the syringe into the dead girl's heart and drew out the blood. The recipient reported a funny taste in her mouth. Kevorkian panicked, wondering if he was poisoning her. After an autopsy, he discovered the dead girl was drunk. He surmised that the recipient had been tasting the liquor."
