last night i was trying to fall asleep and i had the sudden and distinct feeling that someone was calling me. not by phone. you know what i mean.

but there was no message, no indication of who it was.

i thought that i should get up and go on the internet, see if anyone had anything to say, see if someone would give me the 'i was just thinking about you!' that i get sometimes

but i didn't. cause i was tired and trying to go to sleep. and it may have just been my sleepy mind trying to enter the sleep space. but it's never happened like that before. that clearly. that sharp and penetrating.
