where has my coffee run to? the kitchen, probably, where i left it. today has been a day of coffee drinking and kerouac reading on the front porch, waiting for a phone that is not coming today because joe, my friendly t-mobile representative, was entirely untruthful with me about when my package would be delivered, and here, i thought we had such a good rapport together. shame. today was a day i could've been doing laundry, though i certainly enjoyed my hours on the front porch--i've only a few more pages to go, maybe ten, and it makes me realise that as many times as i've started reading this book, i've only finished it a few few times. i don't remember a lot of the book, given it's nature, but i don't remember them going to mexico at all. today has also been a day of looking into the new fridge, pristine in its new clean whiteness and lack of food on its shelves.

now is a time to fix that emptiness and to finish cleaning for tonight's swaree.. swar-A.. where are my accent marks and how do you spell that word? tonight's party, which consists of kevin & i, keith olbermann and chris matthews, an obama and wicked little elf mccain, who decided to show his face after all, i knew it was just a rotten trick to see what would happen and i suspect his goal all along was to try to push off the veep debate, which i'm sure will be a BALL. elf mccain, you're so silly. you could've had romney and actually had a fighting chance. but no, you had to go and be all mavericky.
