it's hot. it's too hot. trying to design. but it's too hot to touch keys. trying to respond to long email consulting me about story/movie ideas. but it's too hot to think. trying to organize house and put things away. but it's too hot to move without overheating, the couch is too hot, the chair is too hot, even in the shade, the wood is too hot, the basement provides no comfort and the tub is too shallow, in minnesota there are no such things as pools or oceans and in the city there are no lakes. i'm going to freeze a cloth and let it thaw over my face
