i think if i were going to cover the rolling stones' "you can't always get what you want", i would do say this first:

"i saw the eighties today. it sped by in a white boxy convertible with two poofy haired couples wearing odd sunglasses inside. i wanted to follow them but i was stuck in the seventies and couldn't keep up."

then i'd play it.

i think that's why i'll never be famous, cause i'd tell silly little things that i think of in the middle of the day before i'd sing.
