the best commercial i'd seen in awhile. a car commercial. young daughter riding with her mom down a windy road.
"mom, how'd i get my name?"
"we named you after the place you were concieved."
"that's why i was named savahnna."
the daughter contemplates this for a moment.
"then why was she named concorde?" she asks.
they both turn to look at the baby in the backseat.
the daughter turns back to the front and sees the name of the car imprinted on the dashboard. concorde. it cuts to a shot of the car driving.

and where it used to have the daughter saying "ew, mom, that's gross!" now it has the mom saying, "no honey, concorde massachusettes."

FUCKING ADVERTISING BASTARDS. THEY RUINED ONE OF MY ONLY JOYS ON TELEVISION!

sigh. at least i still have abfab. hah.
