there is a church down the street from my house that has one of those readerboards with clever words on it to relate jesus to your life and whatnot. and today i drove by and someone had very obviously thrown something hard through it. and though i am not religious at all and have no particular interest in that church, it upset me a lot. some things you just don't fuck with.

then i looked at my gas meter and remembered that five dollars had given me half a tank of gas and i was on my merry way.
