We have since learned that it is not the cuckoo clock, but the clock atop the piece of furniture in the dining room with the drawers. Apparently, I moved it while cleaning and woke it up. I can hear it ticking as I walk by. Tick-tock, tick-tock, and every half hour it chimes at me.

Long sighs, sad eyes, and twelve hour drives. Ten minutes on the phone, it never feels like enough. But I want you to know that it really is cold. I'm sick, with twenty-two days to go

Take out the trash. Drink your vitamin water. Go apply for jobs and clean out your car.
